Overview

The Blighted Isle holds many ancient treasures and ritual grounds in its broken lands. The ancient ritual area known as Khaine’s Embrace is one such place. In the shadow of the Shrine of Khaine, the Embrace has long held dark secrets, for it is here that long ago rituals were performed to the god of  urder. Some think there is great power still held in Khaine’s Embrace and were it to be used, the power of a god could be harnessed. Others insist that land is full of nothing more then malevolent evil ready to strike at a  moment’s notice.

You’re about to test out those theories. In this version of King of the Hill, your team control both capture points, the Dance of Swords to the west and Death’s Charge to to score points. However, once you control the shrines, the Will of Khaine builds up. powerful effect increases in magnitude for 10 seconds and then detonates, destroying players in proximity to the shrines. You’d best hit and run quickly.
 

Order Strategy
 

You begin on the western side, so it’s natural for your team to tackle the Dance of Swords first. Secure it and then gradually test the enemy’s defense as you pursue the second capture point, Death’s Charge. Without losing the Dance of Swords, you must outflank and out think the Destruction team to grab Death’s Charge.

As soon as you do, prepare for the big blast. You have 10 seconds to escape, and two possiblehavens. First, you can duck in the cave between the two  capture points; it’s safe from of Khaine. Second, you can run to the center of the map, where a Khaine’s Reprieve NPC spawned to protect you from the blast. Get as close as you can to survive the shockwave begin your assault again.
 

Destruction Strategy
 

You begin on the eastern side, so it’s natural for your team to tackle Death’s Charge first. Secure it and then gradually test the enemy’s defense as you pursue the second capture point, the Dance of Swords. Without losing Death’s Charge, you must outflank and out think Order team to grab the Dance of Swords. As soon as you do, prepare for the big blast. You have 10 seconds to escape, and two possible havens.

RvR Tip: Feel free to double back to find friends and take a new area, especially if you are outnumbered on the front lines.

Fixxer’s Tip: Start slow by defending ( be patient) then sneak in from the bottom. Communication with team mates is key to this one.
