Death’s door is another of those games that we have discovered in our stream and I think is one of the gems. One of the best games we have played on our stream. This time, we’re not going to start with what steam says, we’re going to start with the coolest feature in this game. And the coolest feature in this game is the crow, is the actual character you play. A crow with a Jedi sword, which of course later on you upgrade to a lot more different weapons.

It is a great game to play anytime of the day, it is fun and engaging. The graphics are very good. The combat is fast paced as it was in dreamscape, it is just one of those games that I’m really excited about, and I want to, say go get it and play it now. On Steam it has very positive reviews, it was released on the 20th of July 2021 and since then it has over 3500 user reviews, as well as reviews from magazines, giving it a 9/10.

Let’s see what steam says and help us out a little bit to give you guys, if you have never seen this game before, an idea about what to expect in this game. Ripping souls of the dead and punching a clock might get monotonous but it’s honest work for a crow. The job gets lively when your assignment soul is stolen and you must track down the desperate thief to a realm untouched by death, where creatures grow far past their expiry date.

This is the story and it’s a very good story for those of you that do enjoy following a storyline. You are a Soul Reaper, a crow, the soul that you’re assigned to retrieve, and rip was stolen. And now you embark on an adventure to find it. On your adventure, on the way to find who stole that soul, you find yourself trapped in a lot more conspiracies and hidden secrets. As far as the combat goes, it is fast paced with combos. Again in this game you have to be good with your reflexes, in dodging and choosing your attacks carefully. The puzzles are medium to hard and smart. That is one feature that makes the game good.

Another feature which I have discovered myself, I don’t know if it is mentioned somewhere else, is that as you move along, you unlock four unique abilities. One is your bow, one is bombs, the other one is a fireball spell, and the forth one is a grappling hook. These unlock as you progress in the game. The part I loved is that as you go from level one to level three, for example, and you unlock the fireball spell on level three, you find yourself in a position, if you remember the maps, that you have to go back to level one and there are certain parts which you could not access.

These are parts that you need to have those skills you just unlocked. Whether it was to blow up a wall with the grenades, or to set ablaze a torch. The game indirectly forces you to go back and explore those areas. Especially, if you want to experience the full game and not just get to the final boss and say I beat the game.

I do feel that the things you unlock by going back, enhance your character a lot, by giving extra abilities to your spells and weapons. This is a unique feature. I don’t remember any other game that does that.

Also it is nice to go back  and see what you missed, what you didn’t see the first time around. I found a lot of areas that I missed, along with buffs and items. It is a game that has a 9/10 review on Steam and I’m going to give it the same rating, because it is a gem.

It is exciting, I think it is going to be one of the few puzzle games which I am going to actually play all the way to the end. No matter how long it takes. It is an amazing game and I totally recommend this to you, and the other 3500 people on Steam.

There is a link underneath the post if you want to have a look at this game. If you do decide to play it, please let us know what you think about it.
