Overview

The Dwarf Engineers Guild has long maintained a testing ground near Thunder Mountain. There, they fashion new weapons and test them out in (relative) safety. When the Waaagh! marches into the lands around Thunder Mountain, greenskin scouts discover the testing grounds and move quickly to attack the Engineers. The outnumbered Engineers send for reinforcements, for if the greenskins overrun the testing grounds and
destroy the mad inventions that the half-crazed (or half genius?) Engineers have created, decades of research and meticulous craftsmanship will be undone.

There are five capture areas to gain on this map. In the center of the battlefield, Gyrocopter Hanger gives the most points per capture. The other four—Fireball Mortar, Gungnir’s Fist, Blasting Cart and Firing Range—all grant equal points per capture.

Intended Mechanics

  • Capture close by Objectives to open up middle objective capture option
  • Fight over the middle objective and control it
  • Defend or re -claim middle objective
  • After controlling the middle objective, push for more Battle objectives ( 2 open up)

Order & Destruction Strategy

Split the groups as you see fit to capture the two closest battle objective to unlock the ability to capture the middle battle objective. Move to the middle and fight for control of the middle objective. Don’t worry about the objective behind you they are lock and safe. Only worry about been flanked. Once you gain control of the middle objective you can either defend it or push the other enemy objective, they become available to be captured once you control the middle objective.

Best Winning Strategy

Sent 2 people in each of the first battle objectives to capture (4 in total). two is a decent time to capture the flags. Te rest move to the middle objective to block the enemy at the bridge and funnel. This makes the fight easier on you. the other 4 people can join the fight as soon as the capture. Punt people into the lava to gain / maintain the advantage. If you win the fight push for the other battle objective or just defend middle you win either way.

Things to keep an eye out for:

  • Enemy might sent 6 man to capture each flag and they can join the fight from one of your flanks or sides as the side battle objectives have paths for the sides.
  • Stealth units and our groups / solo from capture home flags might blind side you and go around the middle objective building and hit your back lines. LOS is tight in the building so check the back lines as other as you can.
