Scenario Type: King of the Hill/War Ball
Size: 12 Vs 12
Time Limit: 20 minutes
Victory Conditions: 500 points
Scoring: 25 Points for capturing the center, 3 points every 5 seconds for holding the capture point, 2 points per player kill (1 point per player kill if you carry the war ball).
Overview
Prepare to battle for the Temple of Isha. It’s the lone capture point in the scenario, and as such, whichever team holds it the longest wins. Both teams start on the northern end of the map; the Temple is in the cul-de-sac to the far south. Because it may be difficult to wrest control from an opponent who has the Temple, a War Ball spawns in front of the center most path between the two team spawn points. The War Ball grants you five percent more damage per hit, but the carrier also receives five percent damage. Use the War Ball to force the other team off Temple grounds, for it won’t be
yours after you gain control.
Intended Mechanics
- Control the Objective
Order & Destruction Strategy
There are several exits from your spawn point, but unless you’re going for the War Ball, take shortest on which is straight. This will take you in the temple entrance where you will have your first fight. This fight is crucial as it will determine who get to the objective first. Fight win or lose, OR kite to the objective.
Best Winning Strategy
Scenarios are about brute force, focus targets and tactical game play in regard to the objectives to win. Here is a list of tactics that can help you win depending on your firepower and group composition.
Tactic 1: Rush the middle (bottle neck) entrance of the temple and fight win then capture (needs firepower) alternative is to have a mobile fight kitting to the battle objective so that you can capture while fighting.
Tactic 2: One person take the side path and drops on the object to capture. The rest fight / delay the enemy until capture. Then that 1 person join the fight at the entrance of the temple of if you have won the fight join that person on the objective and wait for the enemy push.
Tactic 3: Don’t move the temple entrance. Instead move diagonally to the enemy back line and kill as many as you can. Effectively cut them in half. Then move to the objective as a group with a numerical advantage. usually (if not premade) no one turns around to help.
If you need more fire power group up and get the war ball – it will give one player more damage and more points per kill. Group up , protect that player and go on the offensive.
